Sometimes, we need encouraging words, and these famous quotes are very good. If one grabs you, think about it when striving to do whatever you are doing today.
“It is often the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring about the most lasting change.”
Queen Elizabeth II
Believe in yourself and stand on His promises of being by your side helping you. I wasn’t sure I was up for it. That I could do it. I did know He would not leave my side. He would walk through this with me.
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
Theodore Roosevelt
One thing is for sure life is ever-changing. Many good things are waiting in the future, don’t miss them. After more than a month in the hospital, we were blessed to see our first granddaughter born. So glad I didn’t give up on myself and God.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past and present are certain to miss the future.
John F Kennedy
“If I cannot do great things, I can do SMALL things
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
in a great way.”
In unsure times, it’s always good to have a few famous quotes to fall back on
If what you are trying to do seems
overwhelming and too great to tackle. Look at something you can do to work toward the greater. Achieve the small thing today in a great way! The small things will add up to amazing things in the long run.
“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”
Jimmy Dean
I remember when I first had a brain hemorrhage. I had a long way to go. I lost my entire left side. Because of this, I no longer could sit up. Sitting in a chair seems such a simple thing but I couldn’t do that simple task. Everything seemed so overwhelming to me. Remembering God says all things works for good to those who love Him. I believed there was going to be good, somewhere, somehow. I had no idea at this point, how. It seemed to me I had lost everything that was me. One thing I would hold on to was my knowledge of God and His promises to me. He was going to work this out for good.
I decided each day I would do one small thing.
I felt I was totally out of strength for this road I was on. I
remembered a promise to me. II Corinthians 12:9 And He has said to me “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” I was weak and knew I needed His power. In my weakness, He was giving me power. Power to do the things I needed to and regain things I had lost. He was going to work together all this for good. I couldn’t imagine how any of this would work for good. I trusted His faithfulness. He is always faithful to His word.
I would hang on, once again to His promises Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. If I would continually think on this He would be right beside me and help me.
At this point, I would have given anything to change what happened. Then I came to the mindset of facing it head-on. Leaning and depending on God to get me through. To work this for good.
“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until
James baldwin
it is faced.”
Face your situation today and take small steps to regain yourself.
